6. WASTE-PRENEURS Waste-preneurs are individuals from poor communities that have made a conscious decision to improve their livelihoods, while making South Africa a cleaner, greener country. Waste-preneurs collect recycling and then barter what they have collected for food, clothes, education support, building materials, water tanks, solar water heaters, solar powered lighting and bicycles.
