2 Subject pronouns I YOU HE SHE IT WE YOU THEY We use them instead of nouns in the subject position. (Se utilizan en lugar de los sustantivos en la función de sujeto) My mother She has got brown hair They always go before the verb. (Siempre van delante del verbo) We are students of English He is Pep’s best friend.

3 POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES They indicate possession (indican posesión) They haven’t got genre or number (no tienen ni género ni número) They always go before a noun (siempre van delante de un sustantivo) My bike ---- My pencil ---- My books MY YOUR HIS HER IT OUR YOUR THEIR

4 POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS They indicate possession (indican posesión) They haven’t got genre or number (no tienen ni género ni número) We use them instead of the possessive adjejective + noun (se utilizan en lugar del adjetivo posesivo y del sustantivo) This is my book ---- This book is MINE They go after the verb (van detrás del verbo) MINE YOURS HIS HERS ITS OURS YOURS THEIRS
