D10 is a messy room. Empty boxes sit in the corners, attracting dust and cockroaches. The empty boxes easily fill with garbage and clutter the floor. Dust and cockroaches make the room feel similar to a trashcan at times. Magazines and books are thrown onto bookshelves. A classroom library should be organized and easy to search. However, the library in D10 is without any concern given to order and it's difficult to find the same books from day to day. Stacked in the back of the room, computers pile on top of each other, some not even turning on and several keyboards missing keys. Since the broken computers act more like paperweights than anything else, they just take up space without adding anything worthwhile to the class. Essentially, the computers are even more trash in the corners of the room. With trash, cockroaches, disorganized books, and nonfunctioning computers, D10 is an incredibly messy room.

Since it’s your main point, the topic sentence should be written in black. "Red ink shall be used for quotations or other very specific examples.” Write in blue to explain why you included this piece of evidence and how it relates to your point. A good formula to help you out is to use two blue sentences for every one red. "Another quotation or exact example will develop proof; use red ink again." Explain how that piece of evidence helps prove your point. Make sure you fully develop your ideas so your readers understand exactly what you think, the connection between your evidence and your point. "A final piece of evidence in red will show that your ideas are true in the text." By using blue to discuss how you reached your interpretation, you give the evidence meaning. Your explanation also helps your readers understand why you think the way you do. Now that you're done explaining, come back to black for your conclusion.

English 3 Agree or Disagree: In the 1962 novel One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Ken Kesey presents a happy and functional ward with employees who toil for the benefit of all patients.

English 3 Agree or Disagree: All illegal immigrants should be deported immediately.

English 2 Agree or Disagree: While they are two characters in Ray Bradbury’s 1953 novel Fahrenheit 451, Mildred and Clarisse show stunning similarities.
