3. Results of the review… There were 18 recommendations in the report, all of which have been actioned to varying degrees of success. The report brought a lot of information about road safety together in one place, for the first time and has raised the profile of the subject. The review has generated and continues to generate a lot of media coverage, including television coverage.

4. Results of the review… Programme of media releases about the subject, specifically timed at various times throughout the year. Positively raised the profile of the District Council. Commitment from the Chief Constable to maintain the activities of the Road Policing Unit.
