Presentation on theme: "Quickfilter Pro Software Demonstration for QF4A512 The following slides will illustrate how you can design and verify a filter design in minutes! BEGIN."— Presentation transcript:
1. Design a Filter END We will dismiss the assistant by clicking on the icon to design a new filter.
Select Filter Type END The first step is to pick the type of filter. We will choose the basic Parks-McClellan Lowpass
Enter Filter Parameters On this screen we can enter our desired filter specifications: (Sampling f, Passband Upper f, Stopband Lower f, Passband Ripple, and Stopband Attenuation) END
Enter Filter Parameters When we’ve entered the parameters we click “Design”. END
On this screen you can choose your filter type We will select “Lowpass”, then click “Create Filter” View Calculated performance END Software computes number of taps required and plots predicted frequency response…
On this screen you can choose your filter type We will select “Lowpass”, then click “Create Filter” View Calculated performance END …and Impulse Response
Assistant Always Available Notice we can bring back the assistant at any time by clicking here. END
2. Configure the Quickfilter IC END ….and system clock options (if required) For each channel: Specify the filter design to use, the gain, and power / precision options…..
Configure the Quickfilter IC END Software optimizes sample rates for all selected channels. The Configuration is now complete, we can download this configuration and see how it works!
3. Control the Development Board END First, download your configuration to the IC Then, select View FFT
View the FFT of the Actual IC Output The input signal source is from a white noise file, connected to the development kit board from the PC audio output jack. END
View the FFT of the Actual IC Output FFT output views can be a single channel, or up to 4 channels simultaneously. END
View the FFT of the Actual IC Output If a change to the design is desired, the steps can be repeated, and reloaded into the IC within minutes. END
All required cables and software are included in the Development Kit Complete Development Kit Thank you for viewing the demo, return to the website for more details END
