All pictures displayed here are original. Plant photos have been taken by teachers, both in the field and the laboratory.

The photos are original, taken by students. The herbarium should include at least 20 plants. It is equivalent to a traditional herbarium, but students, instead of handling real plants, must use digital photography and new technologies.

When evaluating it, teachers will consider not only its content, but also its presentation and originality.

Thus, students will have to know the difference between the content of a paper and how to present it to the public.

CHUECA INIA One of the main problems observed in some papers is the "copy and paste" from various sources in the Internet. For example, this slide is part of a presentation that is supposed original... But really all of it was copied from a certain website. Teachers must devote part of their time to "hunting“ cheats. Fortunately, new technologies not only stimulate "copy and paste”, but also help us to catch lazy people. Of course, teachers will tray to make students understand that “copy and paste" is a reprehensible conduct in any university course.

Our aim is to make Weed Science (that is, a subject that needs laboratory classes) a 100% virtual course. And judging by the response of students, this objective is fully achieved.
