6 GROUP HISTORY 6 YEAREVENTS 1995 Plant in Tovarkovo was purchased and became a part of Kaluga track machinery. 1997 Ministry of Railways signed a cooperation agreement with Plasser&Theurer company (Austria), and the Kaluga Plant Remputmash produced machines for deep ballast cutting АHМ-801 in cooperation with it. Kaluga track machinery and repair plant is converted into State Unitary Enterprise of Kaluga Plant Remputmash and became the main plant of the association, which consisted of ten machinery and repair plants. 1998 Remputmash launched cooperation with Speno (Switzerland). The first rail-grinding train RSHP-48 produced. 1999 High efficiency liner-tamper machines produced by Remputmash in cooperation with Plasser&Theurer. The first national rail-grinding train RSHP-12С was designed and manufactured. Remputmash won a tender for supply of track machines КОМ-300 and RSHP-48К to Ukraine. 2000 The first flattening, tamping and leveling machine for turnout switches Unimat08-275 was produced in cooperation with Plasser&Theurer (Austria). The machine was awarded the 1st level Certificate at the exhibition «Track machines — 2000» 2001 Lyudinovo engineering plant became a part of the SUE Kaluga Plant Remputmash. 2002 Highly productive machines for ballast cleaning SHOM-1200 and SCH-1200 were designed and manufactured. 2003 SUE Kaluga Plant Remputmash was transformed into a branch of Russian Railways OJSC. The plant developed and successfully implemented and certified quality management system. Certificate was issued by DIN VSB ZERT (Germany). Remputmash introduced new models of track equipment: Dynamic-tamping express 09-3X, tamping and leveling machine PMA-1 «Ariadne», Motor rail car АКS-01, track universal self-propelled railway inspection car for transportation of track crews of 24 people. Testing ground was built: three sections of railway track of 800 meters each. 2005 Open Joint Stock Company Kaluga Plant Remputmash was created. 7 GROUP HISTORY (part 2) 7 YEAREVENTS 2006 Kaluga Plant became the managing company in formed group of companies Remputmash, which includes 9 companies. 2007 Radically new railway equipment was presented — automatic tamper for turnout switches PMA-S. 2008 Service motor rail car АS-01 designed for transportation of 48 professionals-repairmen and greatly expanded set of tools to the site of railway track repair, has been presented. An agreement on cooperation with Geismar company (France) for the production of small tools and equipment and with MFL company (Austria) for the production of a fundamentally new type of equipment — rail-milling train RFP-01 were signed. 2009 Remputmash Group within the order of the Russian Railways OJSC began supplying equipment for the railway construction in Libya. To do this, designers of Kaluga plant designed and built a traction unit 2UTM-4L designed for operation in tropical conditions and on track 1435 mm wide. 2010 Remputmash Group presents two unique designs — RFP-1 designed in cooperation with the Austrian company MFL and cleansing machine MVU-18000 produced in cooperation with the Swedish company Disab. According to experts, RFP-1 is the most powerful to date rail-milling train in the world. 2011 Remputmash designers have modernized ballast cleaning machine SHOM-1200 and flattening, tamping and leveling machine PMA-1. The program on creation of repair and service centers and service organizations for track equipment has started, within which service centers were opened in Kochetovka (South Eastern Railway) and Slyudyanka (East-Siberian Railway). Re-branding of the company has begun. RPM Group is a strategic partner of Russian Railways OJSC, the player of the global market and manufacturer of unique «Russian» machines. 2012 New brand and corporate identity of Remputmash Group (RPM) were approved first by the Board of Directors and soon by Russian Railways. April 20, 2012 a tripartite agreement defining supply of railway equipment for Russian Railways in 2012-2016 was signed. RPM Group undertakes the task to deliver a wide range of modern track equipment designed for any works on construction, major repairs and routine maintenance of railway track. This is more than 3.3 thousand units of equipment, including some new models produced in cooperation with foreign companies.
