6. 6 6 Accident insurance – guaranteed issue available Accidents happen more often than you think. Statistics show that accidents happen where you and your family spend the most time:  A work-related injury occurs every six seconds in the United States.  Most injuries occurred in or around the home (52.6%) in 2009, followed by injuries at recreational and sport facilities (12.4%) and injuries on streets, highways, sidewalks and parking lots (11.1%). Injury Facts, National Safety Council, 2012 edition Accident insurance from Colonial Life can help prepare you for the unexpected.  You are paid benefits to help you with the care and treatment of a covered accidental injury.  Your benefits are paid directly to you, unless you specify otherwise.  You are paid benefits regardless of any other insurance you may have.  If your plan qualifies, you can take it with you if you change jobs or retire.

18. 18 WellCard Savings Discount Program 2014 open enrollment  Meet with a Colonial Life benefits counselor during open enrollment to receive a complimentary WellCard savings discount card.  No purchase necessary to receive.  Present the WellCard at any participating doctor or pharmacy, and start saving money.  The WellCard is not insurance and is not intended to replace insurance.  Your spouse and children can use this card.
