16  Grants for Public Oriented Projects  Up to $750  Apply in advance of the project  Proposals accepted throughout the year  Proposals judged on ◦ Emphasis of engineering service to society ◦ Originality, innovation, and potential impact on local community ◦ Significant participation by chapter membership

17  Support and encourage students to pursue K-12 students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)  Implement programs at the national and chapter levels to equip teachers, parents, and students with skills necessary to pursue STEM careers size  Grants are available to assist your chapter

18  Grants for K-12 Math & Science Projects  Up to $1,000  Apply in advance of the project  Proposals accepted throughout the year  Proposals judged on ◦ Establishment of a MindSET Chapter Implementation Team (CIT) ◦ Consistency of project emphasis with MindSET goals and objectives ◦ Measurable impact of project on local community ◦ Involvement of active chapter members in project
