Jeroboam made the golden calves as a way to protect his reign, but didn’t God promise him a kingdom? What can we learn from Jeroboam’s lack of faith in God’s promises? The sin of Jeroboam becomes the primary area of condemnation against the north. As such, it is important that we know what it is and understand why it is sin. So, what is it and why is it sin?
