Feasibility Study Carried out pro bono by Newcastle University Indicated there was sufficient feedstock and a suitable site for a 250 kW AD plant Laid the foundation for the formation of BABE to take the project forward

Forming the company Help from the Co-op Enterprise Hub Industrial Provident Society for the benefit of the community seen as the best model

WRAP May 2014 Application accepted by WRAP RCC look at all possible renewable energy projects Community engagement via drop-in sessions and a survey Dec 2014 Report submitted to WRAP for approval

The future Increase the board membership, endeavouring to recruit people with useful expertise Publish the result of the community renewable energy survey Prepare for a phase 2 application to the RCEF
