3. Introduction
International Conference of Young Researchers on Advanced Materials (IUMRS-ICYRAM) is a newly conference sponsored by International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS).
The first conference (ICYRAM2012) was organized by Materials Research Society of Singapore. Chinese Materials Research Society(C-MRS) will host the second conference of IUMRS- ICYRAM2014.
The conference provides the opportunity for young researchers (under the age of 40) from the world to exchange their recent achievements on the research and development of materials science and engineering.

24. Awards Young Researcher Award Excellent Paper and Poster awards
IUMRS–MRS Singapore Young Researcher award will be given at IUMRS-ICYRAM2014 conference.
The winner will have a chance to give a lecture on the plenary session in the afternoon of Oct. 27th , 2014
Excellent Paper and Poster awards
The awards of Excellent Paper and Excellent Poster are established for IUMRS-ICYRAM2014. The participants under the age of 40 may apply for the  awards. The maximum of 10 ‘Excellent Papers’ and 10 ‘Excellent Poster’ may be selected.
The awards ceremony will be arranged in the afternoon of Oct. 27.
