GLC Goals Near Term (1 Year) (1 of 2) Catalog past achievements Approve updated By-laws Host a grant info/writing workshop Create a liaison position/committee to partner with Grayson County. Develop Land Stewardship project for small business startup Reevaluate Save Green Expo. Partner with New River Wildlife and Conservation Club on their annual river clean up
GLC Goals Near Term (1 Year) ( 2 of 2) Find avenues to educate the community about the need to protect our valuable natural resources 10% Growth in active membership Develop succession plan for organization (train back-ups, possibly hire admin help) Approve and promote new logo and new brochure Increase visibility in the community through PR and Social Media More participation on committees, of both members and non-members Film Series

Current Mission Statement We have a three-fold mission: To increase the productivity and expand economic opportunities for local farmers, forest owners, and other citizens. To promote sustainable and equitable management of natural resources and the environment. To promote the greater good of the community of Grayson County, Virginia.
Restated Mission Statement Advocate solutions for the community of Grayson County, Virginia and the surrounding area. Increase the productivity and expand economic opportunities for local farmers, forest owners, and other citizens. Practice sustainable and equitable management of natural resources and the environment.
