2 Gerund  A traditional grammatical term for a verbal that ends in -ing and functions as a noun. Adjective: gerundial.verbalnoun  Simpel-nya: Verb + Ing berfungsi sebagai NOUN Contoh: - Playing basketball takes up too much of her time - Her favorite fantasy is playing basketball for UConn. OR - Her favorite fantasy is to play basketball for UConn.
