2. The Class of 2018 is having a t-shirt design competition! We need you to come to the meeting:  Lunch the first and third Wednesdays of the month (that’s tomorrow!).  In room 243 (right next to the skywalk in the main building).  Share your ideas and designs!

4. Tiger Pantry  Tiger Panty is open after school the 3 rd Wednesday of every month and provides fresh produce and food from the 2 nd Harvest Food Bank.  Located in the parking garage under the field house.  Stop by on our next date, Wednesday, Dec. 17, between 2:30-3:15!

8. LCHS Tutor/Mentor Program Peer Power Tutor/ Mentor Program LC Tutors are Juniors or Seniors Any student can seek help from a tutor. Tutoring sessions are set up through Mr. Denton in the Academic Success Center in the Library at lunch or after school. Drop-ins are welcome!

9. IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING IN ANY OF YOUR CLASSES: First step – Communicate with your teacher.  They want to hear from you! (Try arranging a meeting, email, or leave a phone message.) Consider some of the following:  If you’re having a hard time with tests, try asking for suggestions on ways to study.  Your teacher might have times available during the week to meet with you – before school/lunch/after school.  If you’re concerned about how to communicate your struggles with your teacher, ask another adult for suggestions. 10. Ski School (Success, Knowledge, Initiative School)  Days:  Wed. December 10th through Tues. December 16th  Time:  2:30-4:00 p.m. (Bus transportation is available.)  Why:  To make up missing work to help raise your grade.  Who:  If you are a 9th or 10th grader who is failing a core class, you are invited to attend Ski School.
