The Author of this site is the Government, however there are different staff on this website who are put in different divisions which are statistician positions, Macroeconomics and Integration Group, corporate services and technology services. The reasons the Government put together this site is because they want to assist in and encourage informed decision making and research for the start of a small business. Discussion with governments and the community will form a high quality, objective and responsible national statistic service. ABS is one of many providers of statistics (albeit the largest) that are used to inform research, discussion and decision making within governments and the community.
