Our school is situated in a rural area and most of the students come from families who are engaged in agriculture. The level of education of the parents is very low and many find it difficult to accompany their children in their school life. Factors like big families, immigration and working in agriculture affects the students’ productivity. Many students have learning difficulties and need extra tuition, however they are very sociable and hardworking.
The school symbol Our school symbol is a Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus). It is represented in the colour blue to symbolise the sky and the sea and the predominant colour of our area. This bird of prey is commonly found hovering over the area surrounding the school and the cliffs overlooking the sea – representing liberty, space and regional identity.
