5 Make the Connection- Students  Be an encourager  Our students like to know that we understand Provide scriptural support about God’s faithfulness  Our students want to know we are human Share stories about our doubts and challenges  Our students derive peace from our model of faith Give them examples of leaning on God  Pray for your students

6 Authenticity  Don’t try to be someone you are not  Examine your own faith  Ask God for help  Be willing to be vulnerable

7 Methods  YouTube or GodTube videos   Music Videos   Devotions  Collect them  Ask others to share  Students will send!

8 Be Intentional  Keep a file of devotions, scriptures, videos  Spend the necessary time in preparation  Be consistent  When appropriate link to rubric  Example: OT Service reflection assignment
