12 Vision To promote a safer transportation system for motorcyclists and the motoring public. Mission The State of Florida will focus resources where opportunities for motorcycle safety are the greatest. Goal To improve motorcycle safety in Florida by achieving a reduction in the number of motorcycle fatalities, serious injuries and crashes beginning in 2009. Motorcycle Strategic Safety Plan

14  Promote distribution of materials supporting the need for proper licensing through dealerships and other partners.  Educate salespeople and insurance agents on laws and safety programs and their ability to positively influence riders.  Develop materials that can be distributed via motorcycle dealerships, insurance companies, and other partners.  Set the example by emphasizing sober riding at sponsored events and activities.
