This research investigates an Intercultural course taught at a tertiary institute in Dubai addressing how Intercultural intelligence can be effectively taught. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

38. 7) Results from the study indicate that there is a positive relationship between students taking a course in intercultural studies and becoming more sensitive to other cultures. FINDINGS

39. 8 ) All participants will be fully briefed about the aims and purpose of the study and what is expected from them, they will be given a consent letter to sign, or not, as they wish, and they will be assured of anonymity and confidentiality through a coding system. ETHICS

40. 9) While tertiary institutes in the U.S. give a nod to ‘internationalization’ by providing a study abroad experience, research suggests that this is not enough.
