May be the single most important key to improving grades. Helps students work more effectively in groups. May change how students experience and learn things. 18. WHAT SHOULD 8 TH GRADERS DO WITH NAVIANCE NOW? Make sure students have accessed Naviance and are familiar with Naviance – explore the site to see all available. Has your student added in parent email address? If counselors send any emails to parents, you will be included only if email is in Naviance Help your student to check information for extracurricular information under College Tab

20. MIDDLE SCHOOL USE? Part of the Counseling Curriculum – so 6 th and 7 th graders will be registered and given information by counselors – have a curriculum for specifics used at each grade level (earlier slide) Will continue to be used by High School Counselors as part of their college support for students Explore the site as parents – put in parent email if not there
