What is Naviance? Login using the student’s Netclassroom username & password The Password is “case sensitive” so CAPITALIZATION is important!
Naviance and College Applications 1.Naviance is a “holding tank” of transcripts, recommendation letters, school profile, Counselor evaluation forms. 2.Naviance keeps track of when a college receives transcripts/letters/etc.
Student Responsibilities Input Colleges into list Make note of deadlines, requirements (Letters of recommendation?) Ask teachers to write letters Not all schools want letters of recommendation (not required) Have SAT/ACT scores sent to the colleges (use the four free ones given when you sign up for the test!) Follow up with process
