SAMSUNG Lexmark & Others ■ Samsung’s unique Anti-Jam Technology prevents unwanted multiple paper pick-up and Jam. Dam Type only depends on the pick-up roller and friction pad which provides less frictional force. Retard Roller System does precise paper pick-up action by providing reliable and stable friction force. Also, leading edge could be well aligned with nip between 2 rollers such as pick-up roller and retard roller, and it results in stable paper feeding. 6

SAMSUNG Lexmark No Indicator & no paper empty sensor User could not know whether paper remaining is low or empty until paper empty comes. The machine is just showing ‘Ready in LCD’ when the tray is empty. Indicator & Paper empty sensor Indicator and paper empty sensor help user understand machine’s status with paper. User could acknowledge the current status both with LCD and SWS (Empty or not). ■ Indicator for checking paper remaining in the tray Sensor for checking paper empty provided Nothing! 7

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Samsung’s Multi Purpose Feeder tray has very simple structure. User may feel uncomfortable when using MPF tray because of complex structure inside MPF tray cover. User does not feel any hassle when using Multi Purpose Feeder tray with special media. 8

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Samsung provides one-touch ECO button for ECO setting There is no simple way to make ECO friendly out-put format. User needs to push button 9 times to set ECO- mode. User, who wants to save energy, toner and paper, just needs to push ECO button on control panel. The out-put will come with duplex, 2-up, skip blank page and toner save with one-touch Eco button. 9

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Informative driver set-up window provides comprehensive simulation results of Eco mode.  Not available with Lexmark models. Driver does not provide any way to check the machine’s current setting.  The simulator shows the results of reduced emission of carbon dioxide, used electricity, and amount of saved paper in accordance with the setting user selected (both in machine & in driver). 10

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Samsung device needs smaller space than competitor and make less noise. Volume is 15% bigger. Foot print is 12% larger. W x D x H 366 mm x 368 mm x 253 mm (34.1ℓ) W x D x H 406 mm x 370 mm x 260 mm (39.1ℓ) Small volume and foot print The most quiet in the class (52dBA) 11

SAMSUNG Lexmark 99 sec 312sec  Time to print 50 page Microsoft PowerPoint® document with PS3 emulation ■ Faster job finishing time when printing large size document in office environment. ※ Internal Benchmark Test : Tested by Samsung (14/10/10 Report by Quality Assurance Group) ※ Internal Benchmark Test : Tested by Samsung (14/10/10 Report by Quality Assurance Group) 12

SAMSUNG Lexmark  Gigabit supported but have to pay extra $179 for option  1Gbit LAN support by default enables large size of documents from multiple users to be transmitted and processed fast. ■ 1Gbit Fast Network ready as default $ 178.57 13

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Supports heavier media printing than competitor does.  90gsm supported with cassette tray and 163gsm with MPF tray.  Up to 163gsm supported with cassette tray (including SCF) and up to 220gsm with MPF tray. 14

SAMSUNG Lexmark ■ Secure Printing solution (Private printing with pin-code) provided without any cost adder.  To use similar security solution, user should buy higher class model E460dn which is several hundred dollars more expensive. $399.00$699.00  Secured job with 4 digit password  No HDD required (RAM-DISK is used.) 15
