4 Management structure The management structure include: Project Coordinator, Project manager, Financial manager, WP leaders, Scientific Theme managers, Steering committee GOALS: ensuring professional and accurate management and coordination of CropSustaIn in order to fulfil all objectives of the proposal to ensure proper communication and good quality control of the work to ensure optimal involvement of all CropSustaIn actors Project Coordinator (PC): takes the overall responsibility of project management and implementation; dr. Gregor Urek

5 Management structure – PM, FM, WPs Project Manager (PM): is responsible for the technical implementation of the project. He will fully support the PC. PM will be in charge of the day-to-day management of the project, monitoring of work progress, quality control of the reports provided to the EC, communication with the collaborative partners; dr. Saša Širca Financial and Administrative manager (FM): FM will be responsible for the financial management of the project. FM will support PC and collaborate with PM in his reporting tasks, providing the required materials; Meta Čufar Work package leaders: each work package leader is responsible for performing the work scheduled on time and in conformity with the planed work description. The work package leader also insures that deliverables are being produced with the appropriate quality, on time and to budget;

Dr. Kristina Uginovič 5: Transfer of knowledge for omics and bioinformatic approaches for sustainable agriculture. Dr. Jelka Šuštar Vozlič 6: Rising research potential to reduce honeybee colonies losses and to ensure sustainable beekeeping. Prof. Dr. Aleš Gregorc

8 Management structure KIS management team: PC, PM, FM and WP leaders – regular meetings monthly; planning & evaluating the work on the project Advisory board: PC, PM and ST leaders and the leaders of the two Interdisciplinary research programme groups at KIS – 3 meetings in the project lifetime (M12, M24 and M36); evaluation of the scientific matters Project Management Collaborative Workspace At KIS intra-net (with access via username and password only). The collaborative workspace will include the project management guidelines which set out all reporting requirements, deliverable sign-off procedures, templates for all project documents, meeting schedules and partner roles/responsibilities.
