10 Science, research and developmentEuropean Commission HUMAN FACTOR, MOBILITY AND MARIE CURIE ACTIONS Page 10 Marie Curie Actions - FP6 Marie Curie Actions Eligible organizations All types of organisation active in research are welcome to take part in Marie Curie Actions: – Public research organisations (e.g. universities, institutes, etc); – Commercial enterprises, especially Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME’s); – Non-profit making organisations (e.g. hospitals, NGOs, etc); – International European Interest Organisations (e.g. ESO, EMBL); – International Organisations (e.g. WHO, UNESCO)

(For some Actions, researchers with more than 10 years of experience will not be eligible)

Country fellows to 3rd country Incoming International Fellowships : ( 2 years + possible return) –3rd country promising researchers in EU and Ass. Countries Advanced Training

Co-ordinating host from industry or academia, with one or more partners from the other sector Funding of exchange of experienced researchers amongst staff members, in both directions (2-24 months) Includes SMEs, spin-offs, start-ups Transfer of Knowledge Industry-Academia Strategic Partnership Scheme Industry-Academia Strategic Partnership Scheme
