3. Tabot Festival  This festival is held every year at the start of the Islamic month of Muharram, based on the regular calendar this means that this event moves forward about ten days every year. It held to remember the tragedy of Hasan Husein who is the grandchild of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The tragedy took place in the month of Muharram in the year 61 of the Islamic calendar, when Hussin was traveling to the area currently known as Iraq. He was attacked by troops of Yazid when he was near Karbala, and died consequently.  It is also an important aspect of the government's efforts to foster and develop local culture and tourism in Bengkulu.

4. Province of Bengkulu  There are places that you can tour in Bengkulu  Pantai Nala(Nala Beach) – good place for fishing  Tak Sudah (Lake of the everlasting resentment)  Pulau Tikus (Rat island)

5. Food of Bengkulu  Bengkulu has its traditional food. There is a region of coconut, so people of Bengkulu enjoy it. Their general food is rice, and they grow a corn so they usually eat it.
