Ms. Melissa, one of our Speech teachers, thinks… Flexibility means the ability to adapt to change. Interview by a Student

I wake up very happy Rush to my parents dashy To find that they’re asleep Their snoozing cannot keep Please awake It’s for your own sake Just one more hour Gosh you’re so sour But Santa has come It’s time to have fun There are many gifts So many I cannot list Sleepy Santa Finally they awake Their yawning, a loud shake Christmas has begun Presents –there’s a ton This is about a time I did not sign To have flexibility Next time I will try, really

Flexibility Skit #2: Safety Duty

Mr. Robinson, one of our Art teachers, says… Flexibility means the ability to change depending conditions. Interview by a student

Softball is a really nice sport But sometimes I feel out of sorts When things go very bad I get a tiny bit mad I run to third base with people in my way And I’m there, hollering “HEY!” Nowhere to run, while feeling like steam I’m seriously about to scream I feel like a bruise And very used And that ruins my day While I’m still hollering “HEY!” I could have been more flexible And more compatible I should have told the other coach Instead of yelling like a roach

Flexibility Skit #3: Awful Artwork

Mrs. Blinsinger says… Flexibility means being comfortable when plans change. Interview by a student

Some people say when they don’t get their way It thoroughly ruins their day But if you let things happen until they’re done It can turn out to be kind of fun Open up to new things You’ll see the fun that it brings If you don’t get your way Let new things improve your day You don’t want this food? You’re in a bad mood? If you just tried it You might see that you like it They’re out of this shirt? You’re angry and hurt? Look: This one’s cute and fun Why don’t you try it on? Flexibility Makes Fun If you don’t like the way things turn out And you get mad and shout You’re not showing flexibility You know you have the ability When your day is messed up And you want to throw up Just let the day run Because flexibility makes fun!
