2. How the kangaroo got its pouch Once upon a time there was a kangaroo, which was very selfish and proud. It was very beautiful, but it had a bad relationship with all the other animals in the forest. It didn’t talk to any animal, it didn΄t help any animal and it loved only himself.

3. How the kangaroo got its pouch Even, when it got a baby, it wasn’t carring about the little kangaroo. The kangaroo didn’t feed its baby and it often left it alone in the wild forest. So the baby was in great danger. The other animals wondered why the kangaroo didn’t care about the baby, but they couldn’t do anything about it.

4. How the kangaroo got its pouch One day the baby kangaroo lost its way and it started crying. A few minutes later a magician came along and found the little kangaroo. « What is wrong, little kangaroo?» asked the magician. « I lost my way back home and my mum doesn΄t love me.» answered the little kangaroo. « Why are you saying that?» asked the magician.

5. «My mum never take me for a walk, and she never feed me.» said the kangaroo sad. «I will help you.» promised the magician. Two days later the magician found the selfish kangaroo sitting in the sun.

6. How the kangaroo got its pouch «Here you are.» he thought. «Now I will teach you to protect your little baby – boy.» After that he said some magic words and he disappeared.

7. How the kangaroo got its pouch The next morning the kangaroo woke up and it felt very strange. It stood up and noticed that something bad has happened. Then it saw, why it felt so heavy. It got a pouch on its stomach and in the pouch was its baby – boy.

8. How the kangaroo got its pouch Suddenly the kangaroo realized that it never will be alone again. It noticed that it has to care about, its baby – boy and maybe about the other animals around it. At first the kangaroo had a bad time to get used to the idea of carring the baby. Until today it is wondering why and how it get the pouch and it is hiding in the forest.
