Currently on vacation, Marty would need to wait until arriving back at the office, where he keeps important recorder connection information. Luckily, he has been accessing his recorders through Web Connect. All Marty needs to do to restore access is download the mobile app to his new phone and log in with his Web Connect credentials. Since his recorders information is stored in the cloud it is downloaded to his phone automatically without any further configuration.

DO I HAVE TO BE THE ADMIN FOR MY CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT? NO. DEPENDING ON HOW YOU CONFIGURE YOUR INSTALLATION WEB CONNECT CAN BE DEPLOYED IN 1 OF 2 WAYS. WITH THE END-USER AS THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT OWNER OR WITH THE INSTALLER AS THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT OWNER. THIS ENABLES YOU TO BE AS INVOLVED WITH YOUR CUSTOMER’S SUPPORT AS YOU WISH OR EVEN CHARGE FOR WEB CONNECT AS A MANAGED SERVICE. WILL THERE BE FUTURE UPDATES TO WEB CONNECT? YES. WEB CONNECT WILL RECEIVE FUTURE UPDATES TO INCREASE ITS EASE-OF-USE AND ADD NEW FUNCTIONALITY. SOME OF THIS NEW FUNCTIONALITY WILL COME WITH NEW RECORDER MODELS AS WELL.
