Awards Scottish Art Council Award The British Book Awards Children's Book Of The Year Smartie Prize Jim Henson award She has also received 23 other randomly assorted awards, but these are some of the most important ones.

Edumacation When she was a child, she attended school in winterbourne, where she lived. As she got older, she moved, and began to attend a new school in Wyedean. After high school, she left to study at University of Exeter. She has a Bachelors in French.

Other jobs Before writing full time, J.K. Rowling worked as a waitress in a restaurant. This is where she supposedly wrote a “missing piece” of the Harry potter story on a napkin.

Writers story She claims to have wanted to be a writer from early on. Her first school encouraged the importance of literature, so she was highly interested in books even from fairly early on.

It’s a girl! On July 31, 1965, in Gloucestershire, England, Joanne Rowling was born to Peter James Rowling and his wife Anne.

First comes love, then comes Potter. Rowling's parents met in a train station. He offered her half of his coat, and a couple years later, Joanne Rowling was born. (There was no “K” in her name really, that was just part of a pseudonym.) She had a sister named Di two years or so later. She and Di would constantly fight, but loved each other greatly when they didn’t.

Family J.K Rowling has had a turbulent family life. She had one daughter with her first husband, and another daughter and one son with her second. The first girl is Jessica Rowling Arentes. The boy and second girl are, respectively, David Murray and Mackenzie Murray.

Hobbies Rowling is a thoroughly bookish person. Her hobbies are mainly reading and writing. She also enjoys relaxing, although what she feels defines relaxing is not specified.

Life Now Rowling is 44, and currently resides in Scotland with her beloved husband Neil Murray. She has no more plans to write any major Harry Potter books, although she does intend to continue her writing career.

Memories Rowling's books are particularly memorable because of the interesting plot line and the often humorous dialogue. The characters are interesting and dynamic. The setting even seems almost believable.

Personal enjoyment I enjoyed this series. It had an interesting plotline, an exciting protagonist, dynamic characters, and an overall feeling of adventure.

Summary The Harry Potter series is the story of a boy named Harry Potter. Shortly after his birth his parents are murdered, and he is sent to live with his vindictive aunt and uncle. He discovers he is a wizard, and attends Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He has many exciting adventures, and eventually is able to overcome and destroy the powerful wizard who killed his parents and marked him with his signature lightning bolt shaped scar.

Personal review I enjoyed this series immensely. It is one of those few that you can read over and over again, and still enjoy a lot. There are many plot twists and a full set of cool characters with a realistic view on life. My only complaint is that there can just never be enough of this series to keep a fan happy.

Ending This is the end of my fantastical slide show. Please do not cry. When exiting, please use door the left. Good day! This is the end of my fantastical slide show. Please do not cry. When exiting, please use door the left. Good day!
