What is ESY?
Who is Eligible? Students with current IEP Services needed to MAINTAIN skills or behaviors
How does a Student qualify? Data driven ESY is not Summer School, but a qualifying extension of the current school year
Factors Considered Significant regression Delayed recoupment Emerging skills Critical life skills Variety of sources
Annual Qualification Must qualify each year
Process / Timeline Collection of data by all educators and related service providers Evaluation of data Eligibility or ineligibility is determined ESY IEP for eligible students is processed
Location / Services ESY locations are determined annually Transportation provided if needed
