3 Methods of interacting with the application: 1.Eligible Roster 2.Query by Student Using Name and DOB combination Using SASID 3.Query by File Using SASID Using Name and DOB combination

3 Methods of interacting with the application: 1.Eligible Roster SAU is already determined based on logon information Can select either current or previous school year Roster can be sorted several ways Data can be directly exported to csv file Advantages: No data needs to be submitted Easily printable and sortable rosters Good for schools with limited technology in place Disadvantages Data is based on most current I4See submission May not capture all students currently enrolled May contain students no longer enrolled Not easily imported into POS

3 Methods of interacting with the application: 2.Query by Student Look up the eligibility of an individual student Can be done by SASID or Name DOB combination Advantages: Not District sensitive – Roster may not show student Entire household is eligible if one student is eligible Quickly and easily verify a student’s eligibility who has not yet submitted an application Disadvantages Need to print screen for documentation Only one student at a time is processed Need to know SASID or Name, DOB combination

3 Methods of interacting with the application: 3.Query by File Upload and process your entire student DB at once Can be done by SASID or Name DOB combination Advantages: Not District sensitive Flexible -Upload any data needed to create imported DC applications in your specific POS or Applications processing system Export can originate from SIS or POS Export definition may be able to be saved and easily run Disadvantages Need to know SASID or Name, DOB combination File needs to be checked for errors prior to upload Can be complicated, especially at first Process takes a few minutes based on file size

3 Methods of interacting with the application: 3.Query by File If using SASID, a valid 10 digit SASID must be the first field in any upload. If using Name, the following fields must be the first 5 fields in every record, in this order: Last Name, First Name, MI*, DOB, Gender* *MI and Gender are optional, but a field must exist! You can add whatever data you want after required data!
