3 What’s in a story?

4 In rich detail, discuss one of your favorite experiences with someone you love or who you are close with. Try to describe this experience or event in two or three paragraphs.

5 Partner A With a partner, describe your story verbally the story (you may not refer to your notes).

6 Partner B With a partner verbally describe your story (you may not refer to your notes). During your retelling of what you wrote, you may not make any mention of the gender of the person you are talking about (that includes their name, use of pronouns or any other markers to gender).
