After you have installed Paymate you will need to activate the product. For users of Paymate Acclaim there two available options. If you are an existing client and have your serial number available select the first option. If you are evaluating Paymate then choose the 31 day evaluation option. Note: 31 day trial only available with Paymate Acclaim
There are two options to activate you Paymate Acclaim software: online; or fax. Online activation is recommended and is the first available option. To activate by fax click on the appropriate link.
Serial numbers and Activation keys can be located on our website after you have logged into your paymate account. Your products table will display all the products that you are entitled to for use with the software as well as the details about the modules your application is licensed for. The Serial number / Activation keys on this page are necessary to use your application.
To activate online fill out the serial number, company name and e-mail address in the appropriate fields. This information will be used to verify information provided on record, ensure that the information provided is accurate.
Once your have entered your serial number and company information the follow screen will appear to inform you that the online activation of your product is now complete. You may begin to use your payroll software.
If you chose to activate Paymate Acclaim via fax, enter the requested information into the appropriate fields. This information will be used to send the unlock key and should be inputted accurately. To proceed with the fax activation click the Request Unlock Key by Fax – print Fax link.
A print preview screen will pop up with information used to verify your activation. This sheet must be faxed unaltered to Paymate to continue the activation. Note that client reply information is not included and must be provided to receive the activation codes.
After you have faxed the document to Paymate you will receive an email or fax in return that contains two keys. It is important that you apply the keys in the order they are provided. Once you have entered the keys the application is ready for use.
To review your activation license click on Help and then License Information. The License Viewer will display activated modules, country, language, demo periods, and the maintenance year that the product is registered. At the end of every year Paymate will provide you with a new activation key to update the maintenance year.
Input the Activation Key provided from the CD, website and click OK to renew the maintenance year. Once your maintenance year has expired you will be required to enter a new activation key to continue using Paymate. To do this in the License Viewer click on Activation Key.
About License Keys Paymate stores the license keys in the same directory Paymate is installed. If there is a need to move the Paymate directory, Paymate will recognize and move the key into the appropriate folder. Under no circumstances should a shared license key be moved once it has been initialized.
