1 Step By Step Instructions to update a ThreatWall© If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

2 Log on to the ThreatWall ©. If you are using IE 7 you will see this screen. Click on “Continue to this website” If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

3 After you click on “Continue to website” You will get the user name and password dialog box. Enter your credentials. You can check the save password box if you wish. By clicking on save password the next time you log on you will not have to enter the username or password It will be filled in and you just have to click on OK. Whether you checked save password or not click OK to continue. If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

4 ● After you log on you should see one of two screens. ● The difference between the two is the green bar in the upper right hand corner. (Click on the screen you have after the logon) If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

5 This screen means that the last time it automatically checked for updates it did not find any. There might be updates now and to check it needs to be done manually. To do that Click on the “Check now” button. If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

6 When the “check now” button is clicked it should sync to the download sever. If it finds updates it will download them. It will show a progress bar with the amount downloaded and size of the download. If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

7 Once the download is completed it should look like this. This shows the available update(s) and estimated time to install. Note: that is an estimated time it could take longer. To continue click on “Install”. If the sync completed and you did not get a screen that looks like this click here.here If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

8 This timer is fairly accurate. It will take at least the stated amount of time shown on the previous screen. Just wait for the update to install and restart when it is finished. If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

9 After the update is installed and the ThreatWall© is rebooted the screen should look like this. This is the same screen that you saw when you first logged in. Note the “System uptime” it should be only a few minutes. If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

10 Congratulations you have successfully updated a ThreatWall© Now all that is left to do is to close Internet Explorer. And wait till you get another reminder from Managed Services that there are updates to your ThreatWall© If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520

11 If this is the screen that you see when you logged on, there are updates to install and the ThreatWall© has downloaded them. To start the install click on “Install” If at any time you have trouble please call Solutions at 712/262/4520
