Summary ; As You Like It takes place in France. Rosalind’s father, the Duke Senior has been banished, and sent into the Forest Of Arden. Rosalind stays behind with her beloved cousin Celia. But, Celia’s father, and is also the Duke Senior’s brother, Duke Fredrick was the one who banished his own brother the Duke Senior. Shortly after Duke Senior was banished, Duke Frederick banished Rosalind. The love between Celia and Rosalind was so great, that once Rosalind was banished, Celia just had to be banished with her. They didn’t know anywhere to go, but to seek the father and uncle, Duke Senior. In order to keep their identities hidden, they changed their names and appearances. Rosalind will be known as Ganymede the young boy, and Celia will be known as Aliena the young girl in the Forest Of Arden.
Once the word got out that Rosalind & Celia set out to the Forest of Arden, Orlando, Rosalind’s lover set out to find her. Orlando hung poems about his love on the tree’s in the forest, just for his Rosalind. Once Rosalind saw the poems, she confronted Orlando, but as Ganymede. Rosalind couldn’t stand to be without Orlando, so she started to give Orlando ‘love lessons’ on herself telling Orlando how to treat Rosalind, meanwhile Orlando has no idea that Ganymede his ‘love teacher’ is really Rosalind. Then, Orlando’s brother, Oliver set out looking for Orlando. Once Oliver saw Aliena (a.k.a Celia) ; Rosalind’s beloved best friend and cousin, he fell in love. After that, Ganymede who is really Rosalind made a promise to Orlando that if he was there to marry Rosalind in the morning, Ganymede would bring Rosalind to him. The day after, Rosalind stopped acting like Ganymede, and married Orlando as herself, but Orlando still doesn’t know that Ganymede was ever Rosalind. Along the way, Touchstone Celia’s court Jester who came along, met Audrey the goat herd, and they fell in love. Also along the way, they met Silvius and Phoebe. Silvius was mad in love with Phoebe, but Phoebe was in love with Ganymede. But once there was no more Ganymede, Phoebe was forced to marry the man who was mad in love with her, Silvius. In the end, every thing worked out and ended in not only a wedding, but a quadruple wedding!
