1 Pegasus-C Intelligent IP Camera Reference Design The Pegasus-C IP Camera Reference Design is an extremely compact, CMOS ready, Texas Instrument's DaVinci based, intelligent video server employing H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression and advanced video analytics from the leading vendors. This Solution is especially designed to create an intelligent OEM and ODM IP camera that delivers reliable high performance video streaming and video analytics. The Pegasus-C IP Camera is powered by the Mango IVS software and patent pending Analytic Hooks. The Mango IVS software framework enables the seamless integration of third party video analytics software creating a truly intelligent edge device. With its advanced features, the Mango IVS software allows full command and control of video parameters such as resolution, bit rate, frame rate and the video analytics embedded into the server. The embedded third party video analytics with the Mango software and hardware framework creates a powerful video surveillance solution that reacts to predefined threats and issues alerts accordingly. The integration on both the video analytics and the management levels makes it ideal for OEM/ODM partnerships as part of a full video surveillance system.
