9 Maths Curriculum 2014 Aims to ensure children are ‘Secondary Ready.’ NUMBER (place value, 4 operations) FDP, MEASURE, GEOMETRY (properties of shape, direction and position) and STATISTICS. MAIN CHANGES – progression by year group, new language and raised expectations in every year group. Planning - problem solving and sideways stretches. Making Maths meaningful and relevant by making links. Parent involvement.
