Talk To Me Recently we’ve been learning about all the ways we can check for understanding. Who can remember what some of those things were? Let’s brainstorm!

What should I do to make sure they understand? Look for facial expressions and body language that could indicate a lack of understanding or interest. Allow the listener time to ask questions. Ask the person you’re talking to if they understand what you’re talking about.

Activity Form a circle The teacher will give one person a message. This message is to be passed on around the circle. The last person is to repeat the message out loud. You can only pass the message on when you fully understand it. If you do not understand the message you may ask the person to repeat it but you can only use facial expressions.
