6 Watch the following clip carefully... What is going on? How likely is it that this kind of environmental disaster could happen in the real world? 1 = impossible  10 = certain - select a number then explain your choice.

9 We have listed reasons as to why people should care for the environment – but what about Christians? Christians would agree with the reasons we have already listed but unlike non-religious people they believe there are further reasons to care for the environment and help with environmental issues. Some Christians may join organisations that work to help the environment. (SEE HOMEWORK TASK FOR FURTHER INFORMATION)

They believe that although the environment is important human beings are the most important part of God’s creation. Do you think the head of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and President Schwarzenegger’s strategy to deal with Springfield's environmental problems is a good one? Is the EPA and President's approach to the environment compatible with Christian ideas about the environment? How do you think a Christian would respond to the decision that is made and why?

37 Come up with an option 6 for President Schwarzenegger. This should be a plan for dealing with the Springfield environmental crisis in line with teachings from the bible. Make sure you explain WHY he should take your option and how this links to Christian/biblical teachings.
