2 Module Aims Give student a wide-ranging insight into the emerging field of Health Informatics and its impact on the delivery of healthcare.

3 Learning Objectives ►Show understanding of the principles of systems, models and change theory ►Display critical awareness of the recent history, current initiatives and issues in health informatics ►Show conceptual grasp of medical knowledge representation and reasoning ►Demonstrate knowledge of data protection and confidentiality as applied to health information
