Improve communication Increase effectiveness of GIS county-wide both internally and externally by having an internal working group Individuals will benefit on-the-job by using GIS as a tool Encourage collaboration and partnerships Provide a learning environment: Hands-On Training Project demonstrations, presentations, etc

8. Technical User Group Initially, meetings will be held on a bi-monthly basis…will adjust as needed This is YOUR User Group!! An idea to consider: Split this group into two subgroups: New Users Experienced Users Meet for 1-2 hours First half hour: Entire Technical User Group meets together Second half hour: Subgroups meet to come up with recommendations for the entire group Third half hour: Entire group comes together and discuss recommendations
