4. Macquarie University What we used to have…….. Unauthenticated access Anyone could access Internet for free at MQ Campus was on the Internet (137.x.x.x)!

5. Macquarie University Not anymore…….. Campus using private address (10.x.x.x) All staff and students now need to authenticate on the wired and wireless network using OneID

9. Macquarie University Have been trialing a couple of products during the latter part of 2010 – Contentkeeper and Exinda Recently purchased Exinda to monitor traffic utilisation, and allow us to see who is doing what. Moved the Exinda device to internal network so that we can identify local IP’s.
