Creative Marketing Approach- Home Page DON’T ERASE SLIDE Design the front cover for your marketing campaign. What is going to make the reader want to read your story? Be creative with your approach. Remember your photo must tell a story. Come up with a catch phrase.
Home Page DON’T ERASE SLIDE This is your first paragraph so we must capture the readers attention. What is going to make this story a must read? This may include pictures, personal experiences, celebrity stories, interviews, eye opening statistics, etc. You need to have a hook for your article. We also want the reader to start to understand the importance of positive eating habits.
History of Nutrition DON’T ERASE SLIDE What nutritional transformation has America seen in the last 50 years. What noticeable changes in body shape, fitness levels, eating habits, food timeline, types of foods, frequency of home cooked meals, fast food effects on American society? How can we make the reader understand the nutritional changes that have taken place in our society? How can we make the reader understand the negative effects those societal changes are having on teenagers? Examples--- Fast food boom Restaurant boom Families eating habits American eating habits Portion Sizes Nutritional timeline Include statistics, stories, examples, interviews, etc. This part of your marketing plan should be four slides in length. How has technology effected our lifestyle choices? Examples of technology are facebook, twitter, internet, video games, cell phones, IPods, etc. Why are we experiencing a huge increase in inactivity among teenagers? How can we help teenagers understand the importance of increasing activity levels? How can we use technology to increase fitness levels? Make sure when trying to get your message across that you use a creative well thought out approach. We don't want the reader to feel like they are being lectured to. Include statistics, stories, examples, interviews, etc.

How do we get our point across to the readers that we are experiencing substantial increases in teenage stress and diabetes. Our lifestyle habits are also leading to heart disease at a younger age What are the reasons for the increase? How can we help the readers understand that this increase directly affects teenagers? Include statistics, stories, examples, interviews, etc.
Helping Parents Communicate With Teens DON’T ERASE SLIDE What role do teenage parents play when it comes to their kid’s nutritional habits? What positive and negative habits to your parent’s exhibit? How are these habits instilled in you at a young age? What can we do to help parents understand the importance of helping their kids develop positive nutritional habits?
