Problem Many baseball bat companies are becoming outrageous with the new technologies in their bats. The technologies in these bats are making the sport of baseball a safety hazard because of how fast the ball jumps off of the bats.
New Technologies Upgrading Bats New bats having a greater trampoline effect coming off the barrel. Companies are improving the weight, pop, and speed of the bats. From the grip tape to the handle bats are improving and risking the game of baseball.
Solution Every state should switch to a BBCOR certified bat. This will eliminate the over powered bats, and will keep the game safer.
States Switching to BBCOR BBCOR is a new type of material that has a smaller barrel and has more weight distributed to the end of the bat. This would allow less balance, sound and vibrations when the ball comes off the barrel. Its making the game of baseball safer and more fun to play allowing the players to have a comfort on the field.
Nation Issue States like Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland are going to BBCOR for middle school students. But many other states aren't. This needs to be controlled soon before many other players become victims of a line drive coming at them in high speeds requiring more reaction time to get out of the way.
Why should you care? This effects everyone who plays or is a fan of baseball. What if you woke up tomorrow morning and your favorite baseball player or someone you know is in a coma or out for the season for a ball coming off these deadly bats. How would you feel???
So lets come together and fight against the new technologies in these powerful bats!! P.S. If you’re a real ball player the type of bat you use shouldn't matter.
