11 Start Thinking/Planning  Get a game plan in place.  Allocate the needed time.  Identify your resources.  Reach out to your track manager.  Craft your presentation.  Get started – now!

13 Do the Following  Start with the course description  Build a course outline  Review / edit it until it gels  Start writing / editing / building slides  Plan for proofing and rehearsal

14 Manage Your Time But how?

15 Realize the Following  Multiple, short work sessions - good.  A few, long cram sessions - bad.  Give yourself time to think!  Think – write – think – edit – repeat.  Practice – edit – repeat.

16 Know the Audience Meeting their expectations will earn you higher speaker ratings.

17 They are smart, busy, motivated people - so:  Move along quickly.  Give them tips, how-to’s and tricks.  Give them info they can use – now!  Give them a unique experience.  Put yourself in their chair.

19 Answer these questions:  What confused you?  What information helped you most?  What is the best order to use?  What are some real world examples?  How can you use simple English?
