19 CARRIER SPLITS CONVERTED FROM R22 TO RS-44 RSL Carrier Commercial converted twelve year old Carrier 25 to 30 ton split systems used for process cooling at Pratt and Whitney manufacturing facilities in Connecticut, USA. The systems had reciprocating compressors manufactured by Carlyle. The conversion went smoothly according to Carrier Commercials service supervisor, who said: Not having to change the oil, valves or dealing with leaking seals was a big plus.
