Rules: If it ends in a number between 1 and 49 round to the hundred before If it ends in a number between 51 and 99, round to the hundred after If it ends in 50 (which is half way between two hundreds) always round up to the higher hundred

Example 1 Round off 2143 It is between 2100 and 2200 It ends in 43, so it rounds down to 2100 (You only have to go back 43 to get to 2100, but you would have to go forward 57 to get to 2200)

Example 2 Round off 7456 It is between 7400 and 7500 It ends in 56, so it rounds up to 7500 (You only have to go forward 44 to get to 7500, but you would have to go back 56 to get to 7400)
