8 TWG-NPPIC I&C status in Germany Although lots of information about measures to overcome CCF discussion on that issue starts again IEC Nuclear power plants - Instrumentation and control systems important to safety - Requirements for coping with common cause failure (CCF) is accepted Application to German NPPs is discussed controversially Situation is complicated due to application of competing standards
