1 Click on the Tools and Help button to bring up Tools and Help.

2 This is the main screen for the PADDS TOOLS AND HELP. Your Administration tools, instructions and help files are located here. Click on the red X button to close this form.

3 Click on the REGISTERbutton and you get a drop-down list, with the License Manager, License Manager Help and Contact us. This is the PADDS TOOLS AND HELP screen. The first choice is REGISTER, this is where the License Manager, License Manager Help and Contact us is located. Here you will be able to do anything pertaining to the PADDS program license. Click on the red X button to close this form.

4 If Internet Access Code is Available: To ACTIVATE Program with ONE STEP Choose Internet Activate here Enter the 15-digit License Number here, (see software case insert) Then click the Activate button.

5 This is the Phone and Email License screen. Once you install PADDS you can now call or email us your Installation ID number. Using this information we can generate an unlocking key for the PADDS program.

6 We will provide you with your 16 digit Unlocking Key, enter your Unlocking Key and then click Install License. If you are getting the number by phone, you may separate the Unlocking Key into 3 groups of 4 digits each, separated by either a space or a hyphen or just enter in the number as one long string of digits.

7 Once you click on the Install License button this screen comes up letting you know the PADDS was successfully unlocked. Click on the OK button to exit this screen. Once you finish the installation close the PADDS program, and then reopen before using for the first time.

8 Notice if you open the Phone and Email License it shows the status of your license

9 You will see this screen if the License Number you enter has already been used. Make sure you entered the number correctly. If you entered it correctly, calls us toll free 1-877-425-1093.

10 You will see this screen when you are using the PADDS Per Use model and you need to purchase more uses.

11 You will see this screen if you installed PADDS and didnt complete the licensing or you removed your license.

12 This is how the PADDS opening screen looks when you need to renew your license. Notice the CADI & SNAP-IV and Run Cognitive Tests buttons are grayed out or unavailable. You wont be able to test any new patients but you can use all the other features of the program. You will need to renew the license to continue testing new patients.

13 If you are upgrading or wish to use the PADDS software on another computer, you will need to move your license from the installed computer to a storage medium. You need to backup your data. You can move your license using a USB Flash Drive or other portable drive. You should familiarize yourself with the process before beginning. It is easier if both of the computers are in the same room.

14 To manually move your license: Install PADDS on your new PC, this will also install the License Manager Program Open License Manager on your new computer, located in the Tools & Help section of the PADDS program. Insert the drive media in the applicable drive and note the drive letter. Select the drive letter with your media in it by clicking the Browse button.

15 This will display your PC drives. Select your drive then click on the OK button. Once you click on the OK button click on the Initialize Media button for License Transfer to the media.

16 Then go back to the original PC: Open License Manager on the computer that already contains the license. Select the drive letter of your Initialized media by clicking the Browse button Click on Move To Media button

17 Then go back to the new PC: Insert the media into the new computer and select the media drive by clicking the Browse button. Close the PADDS program and reopen before using for the first time. You are finished. The PADDS program will now run on your new computer. Click on the Move from Media button, this closes this screen.

18 To remove the PADDS license: Open License Manager Click on Remove License button When asked if you are sure, click Yes Contact Targeted Testing with the Installation ID that is displayed and the Proof of Removal Code. Targeted Testing will confirm that your License has been successfully removed.

19 You will have to confirm that you want to remove your license. Click on the Yes button to remove it. DO NOT use this function to MOVE a license to a new PC as it will destroy your License.

20 This screen comes up when you remove your License. Notice it says No License. It shows your Installation ID number and your Proof of removal code number. These are the two numbers you will need to prove you removed your license.

21 Adjusting the Base Rate (Prevalence) will be covered later in this presentation. In the TOOLS dropdown list is Data Tools, Print and Adjusting Base Rate (Prevalence). Under the TOOLS menu item, you will find Data Tools, Print and adjusting Base Rate (Prevalence). Data Tools are for backing up and restoring your patient database. You will be able to Print the Forms and Protocols by clicking on the Print and then Forms and Protocols button. Click on the red X button to close this form.

22 Under Data Tools is Backup Data and Recover Data, tools used for managing your patient data. With the Data backup tool up you can copy PADDS data files to another location for safekeeping or to move PADDS Program Data to another computer.

23 The instructions are fairly straightforward, the important thing to notice is the different color backgrounds used. Blue for Backup and Red for Restore. When the path information is correct, click on the Save Data button. Click on the dropdown menu and select the drive you wish to backup the data files to. Drive c:\ in this example is a system hard drive.

24 When the path information is correct click on the Save Data button. In this example, we are backing up the data on drive f a removable drive like a Stick Drive or a memory stick.

25 After clicking on the Save Data, you will see a progress bar for Saving Data.

26 This screen will come up letting you know its finished saving the data. Once the Save Data is finished, click on the red X to close this form

27 Now to Restore Data

Click on the dropdown menu and select the drive you wish to backup the data files to. Drive c:\ in this example is a system hard drive.

30 After clicking on the Save Data, you will see a progress bar for Saving Data.

31 This screen will come up letting you know its finished saving the data. Once the Restore Data is finished, click on the red X to close this form

32 You will see this screen if you choose the wrong backup location for your backup file.

33 Click on the Print to print your PADDS Forms and Protocols and PADDS Instructions. Click on the red X button to close this form.

34 You will be able to View or Print Documents from this screen by clicking on the listing for the document you need. Click on the red X button to close this form.

37 Click on the INSTRUCTIONS button and you get a drop-down list. Under the INSTRUCTIONS you will find the Clinical Manual and the Installation and Use Manual for viewing or printing.
